Welcome to the Armory
This is where I'm going to display pics about some of my favorite Shows and Hobbies, mostly for my Delphi forum posts. I've also decided to toss in a few political topics to show my support for what I believe in. I'll probably keep expanding the site as I learn more (This is a new learning experience for me) so check the update link to see what changes have happened.
"The proper response to speech you find offensive is more free speech!" The Punisher War Journal - issue #37 |
This is a sight you should see more often!
Another friend of mine took this picture while on vacation. I thought it would be an appropriate start for my page since I'm proud of the oath I swore to the Constitution of the United States (USN) and a very strong supporter of the Second Amendment (thus the name 'Armory'). My favorite Weapon is the 1911A1 .45 Cal. (And Icepics too) 17Mar02- This was obviously pre-Sep 11. Its a shame for what it took for more people to proudly fly the American Flag in this country.

The Mileage......

Talk about having low mileage!
There seems to be a problem with the animated Gifs I'm using for another page. If the gifs don't display (Boxes with a red X) Then right click and hit show picture. If not, Click Here-- http://357mag.freeservers.com/ -This is my Gif site-Then hit the link back to the Armory-then all the gifs should work fine. I don't know why it does this yet, but I'm working on it.
 My Response To Racial Profiling
Well here it is in a nutshell.....
"Citizens by birth or choice, of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. The name American, which belongs to you, in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of Patriotism, more than any appellation derived from local discriminations." General George Washington, Sep 17, 1976 (addressing his troops)
"The history of the race, and each individual's experience,are thick with evidence that a truth is not hard to kill and that a lie told well is immortal." Mark Twain
"A man who is good enough to shed his blood for his country is good enough to be given a square deal afterwards. More than that no man is entitled to, and less than that no man shall have." Theodore Roosevelt
How is it racial profiling when you pull over a car doing 40 to 50 miles over the limit, quick lane changes with no signals and tints so dark that you can't shine a mag light with a krypton bulb through them or spotlights mounted on a marked unit? I'm getting tired of hearing about people playing the race card to break the law and get away with it. WE ARE ALL AMERICANS FIRST! If you don't like it, You can exercise a right that most other nations do not allow, you can leave! And see how you can go in another country with that kind of whining. Good Luck! Heres more ranting about Profiling...
Airport screening /Profiling
Airport screeners are being told not to single out certain types of people, so I give you this.
To ensure we Americans never offend anyone - particularly fanatics intent on killing us - airport screeners will not be allowed to profile people. They will continue random searches of 80-year-old women,little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members of the President's security detail and 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips.
Let's pause a moment and take the following test.
In 1979, the U.S. embassy in Iran was taken over by:
(a) Norwegians from Ballard;
(b) Elvis;
(c) A tour bus full of 80-year-old women; or
(d) Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40.
In 1983, the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by:
(a) A pizza delivery boy;
(b) Crazed feminists complaining that being
able to throw a grenade beyond its own burst radius was an unfair and sexist requirement in basic training;
(c) Geraldo Rivera making up for a slow news day; or
(d) Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40.
In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by:
(a) Luca Brazzi, for not being given a part in "Godfather 2;"
(b) The Tooth Fairy;
(c) Butch and Sundance who had a few sticks of dynamite left over from the train mission, or,
(d) Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40.
In 1998, the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by:
(a) Mr. Rogers;
(b) Hillary, to distract attention from Wild Bill's women problems;
(c) The World Wrestling Federation to promote its next villain:"Mustapha the Merciless;" or
(d) Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40.
October 12, 2000, 17 US sailors lost their lives on the USS Cole and this was done by:
(a) That Purple Teletubbie
(b) Gary Condit
(c) LA Crips street gang
(d) Muslim extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40
December 2001 a person tries to light a shoe bomb on a commercial jetliner and this was done by:
(a) Mother Theresa
(b) An Italian guy from New York City named "Giacomo"
(c) Hard working Hispanic farm workers
(d) Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40
On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked and destroyed by:
(a) Bugs Bunny, Wiley E. Coyote, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd.
(b) The Supreme Court of Florida trying to outdo their attempted hijacking of the 2000 Presidential election;
(c) Mr. Bean,
(d) Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40.
Hmm… I don’t know…Do you see a pattern here?
How'd you do? Did you detect a pattern that would indicate we'd better take a close look at a certain type of individual who might be boarding an airplane with something on his mind other than "What's the in-flight movie?"
The screaming has started and it is about the racial profiling of terrorists. Factions are up in arms, so the United States is once again caving in to the liberals and the ACLU.
Hope you received a 100% like I did.

My Sacred El Camino ..sort of.
A friend of mine took the picture and cleaned up a 'few' of the rust spots. Unfortunately I no longer own these wheels. Everyone has the one they regret letting get away, here's mine. She had a 64 Vette motor (283 Turbofire), 4 spd tranny (Muncie) and a 3:73 rear (10 bolt posi). Damn I do miss my wheels! The other profile of the car is on the Guestbook-Contact Info page.
If your going to email me with the link below make sure to label the subject: The Armory. My junkmail filter is set on high and I will need that to filter the real mail out with the junk that slips through.
